Taken from my backyard just moments ago.
Venus is at lower right, Jupiter is just left of the moon. These are the three brightest objects you'll see in the sky at one time (aside from our star, the Sun, of course...)

Hopefully the weather will clear up so we can see the lovely dance of the moon, Venus and Jupiter just after sunset over the next few evenings.

This is a great little video that visually demonstrates some of the physics of electromagnetic fields using nothing fancier than a knitting needle, some droplets of water... and an orbiting space station!
